Useful Information for Your Trip with Zephyr Charters

To help you get the most from your fishing trip in Cornwall with Zephyr Charters, please read the following information before departure.

🎣 Fishing Equipment & Tackle

Tackle hire is available at £10 per person, including rods and reels.

You are also welcome to bring your own fishing equipment, including rods, reels, terminal tackle, and lures. A selection of lures is available to purchase onboard in a variety of sizes, weights, and styles to suit different fishing conditions.

🐟 Bait

Bait can often be caught during the trip, depending on conditions and the type of fishing experience you choose. In some cases, arrangements can be made in advance depending on your trip requirements.

🌦️ Weather & Trip Planning

We are fortunate to have sheltered fishing areas within the Carrick Roads, allowing us to fish comfortably when offshore conditions are unsuitable.

All trips are assessed by the skipper the evening before departure to ensure safety and the best possible experience for all passengers.

In the event of cancellation due to bad weather, a full refund will be provided.

👟 What to Bring

To ensure comfort and safety onboard, we recommend bringing:

• Non-slip footwear (preferably waterproof)
• Warm, weather-appropriate clothing
• Food and drink for the day

Packed lunches are also available to pre-order at £10 per person.

🦺 Safety Information

Please note that life jackets for children are not carried onboard as standard, as this is not a requirement for the vessel. If you are travelling with children, you are welcome to bring your own appropriately fitted life jackets.

⚕️ Health & Safety

If any passengers are taking medication or have medical conditions we should be aware of, please inform the skipper before departure.

🤢 Seasickness Advice

If you are prone to seasickness, we strongly recommend taking preventative medication before your trip. Sea conditions can vary, and it is best to be prepared to ensure you enjoy your experience.
